Parent Involvement
Parent involvement is essential to the success of Troop 3. It is expected that at least one adult from each family will participate in troop activities at least twice a year.

Opportunities to participate include:

• Working at the fundraiser parking lot for Northwestern University home football games
• Driving to/from campouts
• Being a Merit Badge counselor
• Participating on a new scout recruitment committee
• Attending campouts to ensure adult coverage, including summer camp
• Coordinating special events such as Scouting for Food, Rebuilding America, Trashbusters or Council First Aid Meet
• Holding a troop committee office, usually designated in spring for the following year
